Zoey The Border Collie’s Special Canine Christmas Poem and Pic: Christine’s Chronicles

Twas the night before Christmas and all through her house

Zoey’s humans were sleeping, they were probably soused

Her stocking was hung by the chimney with care

Stuffed full of dog treats, as it dangled right there

She reached out with her paw with a snort and a snap

Only to learn it was within her grasp.

When her two-leggers awoke all perky and swift,

they cried:

“Alas our dear Zoey has eaten her gift.”

With a wag of her tail and a smile and a wish, she barked

“Merry Christmas to all, the treats were delish!”
