Think you’re knowledgeable about hits from the 1960s? Here’s your chance to prove just how proficient your musical trivia knowledge is, of course it’s coupled with a bit of vocabulary scrambling to make it more interesting.

One of the fun aspects of this new quiz concept is that for the most part, these answers are not google-able, they require a well defined thinking cap and the writing down of your answers to see how many you can guess.

Answers and a tongue-in-cheek scoring guide are shown beneath the questions. Good luck and have fun!

Even though this tambourine is primarily blue, it does have some green on its surface. The song doesn’t specify if the tambourine in question is 100% green, so we’re hoping this one qualifies enough to be shown in this quiz.

SCORING GUIDE

18-20 CORRECT – Outta Sight! ~ You’ve got the right stuff, you don’t need any “Help” to be “Feeling’ Groovy.” This platinum-plated score is one of “Respect” that shows you are tuned in and always ready to “Dance to the Music” of the 1960s. As a prize, treat yourself to a “Lollipop” and go have some “Fun, Fun, Fun.”

14-17 CORRECT – Far Out ~ Definitely ready to follow the “Pied Piper” and dig that crazy “Classical Gas” as you head “Downtown” in search of live music in “This Magic Town.” Such a solid silver score qualifies you for the title “King of the Road.”

10-13 CORRECT – All Wound Up ~ “Do You Want to Know a Secret?” This quiz wasn’t designed to “Make it Easy on Yourself,” and you are definitely no “Fool on the Hill.” “Let Me” recommend a little “Dancing in the Street” to provide you with some “Satisfaction.”

5-9 CORRECT – On The Level ~ You can be “Feeling Alright” about your score because you didn’t “Walk on By” – you persevered and did your best. “Nobody I Know” is perfect, and “As the Years Go By” your knowledge will continue to accumulate.

4 OR LESS – Slug Bug ~ Ok, you may not be “Leader of the Pack” score-wise, but don’t get all “Jam Up and Jelly Tight” and say “Dang Me” to yourself over this. Just “Reach Out of the Darkness” and “Lay a Little Lovin” on those around you so everyone can be “Happy Together.”
