In her leisure time, Xtine relaxes by picking bass lines on her acoustic guitar. That is, until her beloved border collie Zoey sees someone walk by and starts barking in a most unrelaxing way. Thus this improv song, “My Dog is a Barking Bitch Blues,” was born in an instant on the “front deck” as people walked by and Zoey decided to chime in and spawn a blues song.
One of Xtine’s favorite spots for picking and grinning is the “front deck,” which is located a short distance from a busy highway, thus there are various noisy vehicles driving past, birds singing, and other miscellaneous background sounds.
