Paul was killed in the 1990s in an automobile accident traveling between here and Edinboro. He truly was a great musician, and was always able to interpret my original songs with such finesse and feeling. Thanks for posting your comment.
This is something I really didn’t want to hear. We have indeed lost a great musician. When I left Erie I had always hoped to return and do a collaboration with Paul. During the Hickory Wind days he was a major influence on the songs I had written for the band. I would always think to myself as I was writing…. “This is where Paul can put a killer guitar solo”…
I can only imagine what he would be doing today in the “Digital Age”.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I completely understand how you feel, Stephen. I put together a band named “Trash” and I have digitized and produced videos of two songs. You saw one, here is the link to another, called “I Want To Be A Gynecologist, which I wrote and Paul sang:
If/when you return to Erie let me know if you would like to collaborate musically. After Trash (1982-1983) I put together the original act “Generic Beat,” which played as recently as Aug. 3, 2013. Thanks so much for sharing your memories of a unique and creative musician.
Not sure what your comment is about, but I played bass for this song, recorded it myself and edited then posted it here on the internet. Hope that helps.
The “Late” Paul Tatara???? I was in a band with him in the late 70’s – Hickory Wind.
Are you saying Paul is no longer with us?

When some one searches for his essential thing, thus
he/she wishes to be available that in detail, so that thing is maintained over here.
