Dan Rice, one of America’s best-known circus personalities in the 19th century, spent his winters in Girard, PA.
100 years later, the town continues to celebrate the contributions he made to improve this Erie County, PA town with a yearly celebration called Dan Rice Days. Skipped in 2020 this event was very well attended in 2021, and enveloped in positive, happy emotions.
