Before The Computer Age … your band’s literature was either hand-written or typed, or both like this one. Here’s our 90% original songlist program from Rainbow Gardens, in a 1985 “Battle of the Bands” featuring Generic Beat, Thrilling Detective and Ventura. Dan Smith/Danny White leapt from the ceiling down to the floor in the opening song and startled everyone because nobody knew he was there. I also have a scar on my ankle from that show when Dan struck a cowbell with all his strength as I kicked upward and took out a chunk of skin. ha ha. Of course we didn’t stop playing… Those were the days…

The Generic Beat had hundreds of these flyers and customized the bottom half for their show announcements and programs.
